Again this year, BEP Foundation has been pleased to assist Friends of The Environment saving baby turtles. Our Board Meeting was held last November at Pit's pub - Little Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas.
New poster We are pleased to annonce that the posters have been delivered to schools throughout the Bahamas early this year. Pre- and post- presentation evaluation survey questions and score sheets have been included in the packages sent to all schools so we hopefully will get some results during the year 2018. Friends of the Environment has again accomplished a great job with the participation of 12 Schools. The subject this year was « Exploring the Value of Marine Resources ».
While BEP is settled on Elbow Cay, we could not ignore its Lightshouse : “The Most Recognized Landmark in Abaco and the Last Light of its Kind in The World »! Because Blue Holes and Caves are part of the Bahamas Environment, BEP Foundation believed it is necessary to preserve not only the Caves and Blue Holes themselves but their access with decks and walk paths.
