Bahamas Marine Mammals Research Organisation (BMMRO) – Day & Work

Diane and Charlotte from BMMRO wanted to share with BEP a day out experiencing Mammals. We have been very grateful to the weather forecast on last August 13^th, 2017 which could not be any better.

Calm sea, windless, and only sun was the perfect day for this 9 hours experience on the sea looking for whales and dolphins. Before that, Diane and Charlotte presented us their objectives and believes in their office in Sandy Point (power point presentation attached). The entire day was fascinating! Being involve in a daily scientific work (pictures’ taken, mammals sounds’ recordings, notes and mapping) that way just convince you that we need to protect our environment inside/outside AND NOW. The posters production and distribution was a start… we will carry on being part of their projects.
